Cockatrice, Fighting

Among the many strange beasts of fantasy lore, the Cockatrice remains one of the most infamous. With the body of a rooster, tail of a serpent and dragon-like wings, these creatures are surrounded by tales of petrifying curses, cursed eggs, and ancient magical experiments gone horribly wrong.

I have sculpted this pose to capture the creature at the height of battle. In the 'fighting pose', the Cockatrice leaps into the air with wings fully extended and claws raised, ready to strike. The dynamic posture gives the miniature an imposing presence on the tabletop, showcasing its impressive crest, scaled body, and powerful wings as it swoops down upon its prey with vicious talons.

Perfect as the dramatic centerpiece of an encounter, this pose represents the moment when the fight has truly begun.
